Terms and Conditions

1. Bidding for Centennial Bike is for a noble cause in the memory of our Chairman Emeritus Dr. Brij Mohan Lall Munjal and proceeds of the bid will be donated for charity purposes.

2. Bidding for Centennial Bike is open for Hero MotoCorp Ltd.’s dealers, select business partners & employees only.

3. Bidding for Centennial Bike is open from 1st July 2024 till 15th July 2024.

4. Any bid received after 24:00 hours 15th July 2024 shall not be valid.

5. Participation in this bid is purely voluntary. By participating in this bid the bidding participant unconditionally and irrevocably accepts and agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

6. For ease of operation, all Centennial Bikes are capitalised in the name of Hero MotoCorp Ltd.

7. Reserve minimum bidding amount for participation in the bid is INR 11 Lakh.

8. Bidders can make multiple bids till 15th July 2024. New bid by the respective bidder will overwrite the previous bid and the last bid made by the participant shall be considered for the bidding.

9. Total 70 bid winners shall be selected.

10. Select top 70 bidders (Select Bidders) shall be intimated about their winning status through their registered email/mobile number with Hero MotoCorp Ltd. during the bidding.

11. Delivery of Centennial Bikes to Select Bidders will be subject to transfer/payment of full bid amount by them in the designated bank A/c. of Hero MotoCorp Ltd. as per the date and process communicated by Hero MotoCorp Ltd. In case payment is not made by the aforesaid stipulated date, bidding will stand cancelled and will be passed on to the next higher bidder.

12. Transfer of vehicle in the name of Select Bidder(s) shall be initiated and date will be informed to the Bidders separately.

13. By participating into this bid, the bidding participant consents to Hero MotoCorp Ltd.’s, right to tag, notify, picture, tape or portray him/her, and to exhibit this material in any and all media, advertisement now existing or hereinafter created, including without limitation internet, digital media, television, film, radio and print media, without any compensation whatsoever for advertising and publicity purposes, except where prohibited by law. The Participant also consent to Hero MotoCorp Ltd.’s, right to use his/her name, voice or picture, or the content of his/her Campaign entry.

14. The personal information shared by the bidding participant with Hero MotoCorp Ltd., whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to anyone for any reason whatsoever, by Hero MotoCorp Ltd. without the consent of the bidding participant.

15. Hero MotoCorp Ltd. shall not be responsible for any expense incurred by the bidding participant while participating in this bid, including internet charge and any technological issues, including network problem.

16. Non adherence of bidding process of participation will invalidate the entry.

17. Hero MotoCorp Ltd. does not accept any responsibility for any incorrect communication detail provided by the bidding participant and/or delay in receipt of entry and/or non-receipt of entry.

18. Taxes or any other statutory cost (if any) as per applicable on transfer of bike are the responsibility of the Select Bidders & cost towards the same or other incidentals, if any, would be borne by the Select Bidders.

19. In case of any issue, the bidding participant need to report at the mobile number – 9228002580 latest by 20th July 2024. After which no complaint shall be entertained.

20. Hero MotoCorp Ltd. reserves the right to change the terms and conditions, including extending, withdrawing or discontinuing the same without notice, without assigning any reason, at its discretion without any liability.

21. Hero MotoCorp Ltd. including its affiliates, respective agents and representatives, owners, distributors, retailers, and advertising/promotion agencies, are not responsible for any loss of entries for any reason whatsoever including, due to any problems caused by network lines, computer systems, internet service providers, computer service delays, interruptions, failures or overloads, or for lost, misdirected or misplaced entries.

22. Hero MotoCorp Ltd. does not accept, and is not responsible for, any lost or delayed data and/or communication. Hero MotoCorp Ltd. reminds the bidding participants of the nature and limitations of the Internet and is not responsible for any problems, technical malfunctions.

23. Under no circumstance, unless due to wilful misconduct or gross negligence, shall Hero MotoCorp Ltd. and/or their directors, employees, officers, affiliates or subsidiaries, be liable to the bidding participants and/or any third party for any lost profits or lost opportunity, indirect, special, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages whatsoever. The bidding participants specifically agrees not to file in person/through any family member and/or any third party any applications, criminal and/or civil proceedings in any courts or forum in India against Hero MotoCorp Ltd. and/or their directors, employees, officers, affiliates or subsidiaries to claim any damages or relief in connection with the bid.

24. Hero MotoCorp Ltd. may use any personal information provided by the bidding participant for marketing purposes including the distribution of regular email updates or newsletters. Any personal information relating to bidding participant(s) will be used in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

25. The decisions of Hero MotoCorp Ltd. and its representatives regarding running/ process/results of the bid, data selection and on all aspects of the bid shall be final and binding on all the bidding participants.

26. This bid is subject to the force majeure conditions.

27. Any dispute arising out of or in relation to this bid shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi.
